that look like beepers
other people have steering wheels
that look like twisted pretzels
i have my own two arms
and they look like awkward clubs
together, we have language
and it looks like a computer screen
we can see words in new ways
through a screen full of static
because the monitor is old and glass and heavy
my brother likes to sew
he is not gay
i wish sometimes that he were
then he would look like something else
instead of looking like me
with a needle and some thread
